Infirmary Health strives to create a welcoming atmosphere for its patients and visitors while maintaining their safety and security. In order to ensure our patients are provided the best care, Infirmary Health sets certain parameters for visitors. Each hospital has instituted the following visiting policies (exceptions apply):

Mobile Infirmary

Patients at Mobile Infirmary are welcome to receive up to four visitors at a time (exceptions apply).

  • Non-ICU Visitors: Daily from 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • ICU Visiting Hours: Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 4 - 6 p.m.
  • Senior Behavioral Health: Daily from 12 - 1 p.m. and 5 - 6 p.m.
  • J.L Bedsole / Rotary Rehabilitation Hospital: Monday - Saturday 4 – 8:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Infirmary LTAC Hospital

Patients at Infirmary LTAC Hospital are welcome to receive up to two visitors over the age of 12 at a time (exceptions apply).

  • Visiting Hours: Daily from 11 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Thomas Hospital

Thomas Hospital is open to non-ICU patient visitors every day.

ICU Visiting Hours:

  • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Open Visitation
  • 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM CLOSED (QUIET TIME)
  • 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Open Visitation
  • 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM CLOSED (QUIET TIME)
  • 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM Open Visitation
  • 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM CLOSED

ICU Visitor Guidelines:

  • ALL visitors must call from the intercom system before entering the unit.
  • 2 visitors per patient.
  • Visitors must remain in the patient’s room or return to the waiting room to ensure privacy and confidentiality of all patients.
  • Visitors must be twelve (12) years of age or above. Children under the age of twelve (12) are not permitted in the Critical Care areas.
  • Visitation may be limited by the patient care team/Nursing Administration if it is deemed that the visitor may cause undue stress or safety issues for the patient.

Colony Rehabilitation Hospital is open to visitors Monday - Saturday from 4 – 8:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

North Baldwin Infirmary

Patients at North Baldwin Infirmary are welcome to receive up to four visitors at a time (exceptions apply).

  • Non-ICU Visitors: Daily from 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • ICU Visiting Hours: (limited to two visitors at a time): Daily from 9 - 11 a.m. and 4 - 6 p.m.
  • Senior Behavioral Health (limited to two visitors at a time): Monday - Friday from 3 - 4 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m.
