About James
Dr. James Sahawneh completed his medical degree at the University of South Alabama and attended Tulane University, where he obtained a master's degree in cell and molecular biology. Dr. Sahawneh completed his general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, along with two fellowships at Orlando Health in minimally invasive advanced colorectal surgery and colon and rectal surgery.
Dr. Sahawneh is a member of numerous professional societies including: the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Christian Medical Ministry of South Alabama.
