The North Baldwin Infirmary Foundation was formed in 1979 by community leaders to ensure the highest quality of medical care possible was available in North Baldwin County. Since then, the Foundation has supported North Baldwin Infirmary by providing a mechanism for community engagement.

- Promoting the expansion of services offered at North Baldwin Infirmary by funding needed equipment, facility upgrades and program development
- Promoting healthcare education in the area served by North Baldwin Infirmary and encouraging the public to take an active role in determining the future of healthcare in their community
- Providing a framework for community involvement in the healthcare of north Baldwin County
