On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the Thomas Hospital Foundation hosted its 5th annual Celebrate Life event at a beautiful new venue—The Aviary in downtown Fairhope.

Guests enjoyed a morning of inspiration, delicious brunch favorites, and boutique shopping. The highlight of the event was our featured speaker, Ashley McMakin, founder of Birmingham’s beloved Ashley Mac’s Kitchen, who shared her heartfelt story and passion for food and family.

Presented by The Plant Shoppe, this uplifting gathering brought the community together to honor life, support local healthcare, and celebrate the mission of the Foundation.
