What began as a community hosted fundraising dinner has morphed into the premier social event of the Eastern Shore.

Held each August, the Grand Summer Ball features an elaborately decorated Grand Hotel, an unbelievable dinner, and dancing until the clock strikes midnight. Attendees include doctors and hospital staff, corporate partners and dedicated philanthropists.

While a great place to see and be seen, the evening is underscored by a very important purpose - supporting the efforts of the Thomas Hospital Foundation to continue making Thomas Hospital a healthcare facility like no other, with world-class staff and services offered to the community.
