Infirmary Health’s flagship hospital, Mobile Infirmary, was founded in 1910. With 689 licensed beds, including J.L. Bedsole / Rotary Rehabilitation Hospital, it is among the leading hospitals in the state for surgical volume, houses a comprehensive cardiovascular program with a hybrid OR/Cath lab, the region's only long-term acute care hospital, and a freestanding emergency department in Saraland. Mobile Infirmary also boasts a renowned cancer program, Infirmary Cancer Care with surgical, radiation and medical oncology. In May 2021, Mobile Infirmary earned The Joint Commission certification as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center.

Mobile Infirmary was the first hospital in the region to acquire the da Vinci® Surgical system, a state-of-the-art robotic platform used to perform precise and minimally invasive surgeries. In 2021, Mobile Infirmary celebrated 15 years of robotic surgery excellence and completed its 10,000th robotic surgery. As the program continues to grow, Infirmary Foundation purchased a fourth da Vinci robot for the hospital.
