Dr. Clayton Lane is an orthopaedic surgeon fellowship-trained in sports medicine and shoulder replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, a national leader in orthopedics. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has been practicing in the Mobile area for more than a decade. Dr. Lane has authored publications in peer-reviewed orthopedic journals and textbooks. He is passionate about supporting athletes and helping them recover from their injuries and also applying those same minimally invasive techniques to the care of adults with tendon, ligament and cartilage injuries.  He was the team doctor for the Mobile Bay Bears for 12 years, and during football season, you will find him on the sidelines as team doctor for many area high schools.
