COVID-19 Update - January 4, 2022

In an effort to keep our community safe and informed, Infirmary Health will resume sharing daily statistics and information as it relates to COVID-19 across our system. Our communities are experiencing a fifth surge of COVID-19 with the Omicron variant. We strongly encourage you and your loved ones to remain vigilant: get vaccinated, wash your hands and wear a mask.

Infirmary Health currently has 88 COVID inpatients in its hospitals; 46% of those patients are unvaccinated, and 54% are vaccinated.

COVID-19 Testing

Due to increased demand, COVID-19 testing is limited in our area. If you are in need, there are a variety of opportunities across the Gulf Coast region including Diagnostic & Medical Clinic, American Family Care, Mobile County Health Department and Franklin Primary Care. If you are an existing patient of an Infirmary Medical Clinic in Mobile or Baldwin Counties, appointments can be scheduled for those desiring COVID-19 vaccinations, testing and a complete medical evaluation.

Emergency Departments

Infirmary Health remains committed to providing the highest level of care for all our patients and their families. Our emergency departments are open to anyone who is experiencing life-threatening emergencies.

Visitor Policy

Infirmary Health has modified its hospital visitor policy to allow (1) visitor per patient at a time for its hospitals. Visitors must be age 18 or older. No overnight visitors are permitted. For more information and to view hospital visiting hours, please visit infirmaryhealth.org/visitors.
