Infirmary Health contributes $100,000 to local charitable organizations for twelfth consecutive year

Mobile, Ala. – For the twelfth consecutive year, Infirmary Health has committed an excess of $100,000 to charitable organizations in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. Through the health system’s iHelp program, Infirmary Health made donations to more than 40 organizations, including the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, 100 Black Men of Mobile, Drug Education Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast and others, in its most recent fiscal year.

Infirmary Health’s iHelp program was created in 2012 to serve as the governing body for the system’s community activities and corporate giving. The committee is comprised of members from across the health system and supports not only corporate giving efforts but the vast array of employee volunteerism across the system. Infirmary Health team members are pillars in the community, volunteering for more than 100 organizations annually and fulfilling the organization’s mission of LIFE: Leadership, Integrity, Family & Excellent Service.
