Thomas Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program (THIMRP) faculty Dr. Holly Pursley presented an original painting and oral presentation at the Arts and Humanities section for the 2024 Southern Regional Meeting of the Society of General Internal Medicine (SSGIM) in New Orleans. THIMRP resident Dr. Unwam Jumbo presented a poster entitled “Early Detection of Intracranial Hemorrhage Through Post-Thrombolysis Arrhythmia: A Case Report”. Dr. Nitesh Shrestha, THIMRP resident, presented posters entitled “A Rare Case of Painless Thyroid Abscess” and “Portal Vein Thrombosis with Cavernous Transformation in a Patient with Cocaine Use in Adjunction with Testosterone Injection: A Case Report”.
