Mobile Infirmary ranked among Southern Alabama’s Best Regional Hospitals by US News & World Report

Mobile Infirmary, Infirmary Health’s flagship hospital, has been recognized as one of the best hospitals in Southern Alabama and one of the top four in the state by U.S. News & World Report in its 2024-25 Best Hospitals rankings. Additionally, Mobile Infirmary has achieved a record number of eight high-performing specialty designations: COPD, Colon Cancer Surgery, Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Hip Replacement, Leukemia, Lymphoma & Myeloma, Lung Cancer Surgery, and Prostate Cancer Surgery.

Mobile Infirmary offers one of the most comprehensive cardiovascular programs in the region. Additionally, its award-winning surgical program is one of the largest in the state. Mobile Infirmary is also home to Infirmary Cancer Care, an affiliate of the UAB O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, providing surgical, radiation, and medical oncology services. In May of 2024, Mobile Infirmary achieved certification from The Joint Commission as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Furthermore, Mobile Infirmary has been awarded The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® for its exceptional work on total knee and hip replacements and spine surgery.
