Mobile Infirmary opens new clinic to broaden access to women’s health

Mobile Infirmary has added a new OB-GYN clinic in Jackson, Ala. to bring women's healthcare closer to home for rural populations.

The new Mobile Infirmary Women’s Health Clinic partners with the Women’s Health Alliance of Mobile, an affiliate of Infirmary Health. At the clinic, patients will receive comprehensive OB-GYN services including routine and preventive care, pregnancy and reproductive healthcare and the diagnoses and treatment of gynecologic conditions.

Ted Catranis, M.D., obstetrician-gynecologist with the Women’s Health Alliance of Mobile, is currently the sole provider at the location. He now sees patients in Mobile and Jackson, Ala.

Susan Boudreau, president of Mobile Infirmary, looks forward to expanding vital healthcare services to these communities.

“This clinic reflects our deep commitment to serving rural communities with the same level of excellence and compassion that defines Mobile Infirmary,” said Boudreau. “It’s a step toward a healthier future for our patients.”

The clinic is currently open on Thursdays and is located at 3004 N. College Avenue in Jackson, Ala. To schedule an appointment, call 251-435-7700. To learn more, click here.
